I saw this Walking Water experiment on Pinterest
and wanted to show it to my grandchildren
when I see them in October.
First, I wanted to try it out at home.
Below you will see hour by hour photos
of the water "walking" from one cup, down
the paper towel, to the empty cup.
All the blue colored water is in the top cup
After a couple of hours, the blue water
had traveled this far. Keep scrolling down
to see the blue water "walking" to the empty cup.

I am going to ask the grandchildren how
long they think it will take for the blue water to reach the
empty cup. Also, if we mark the paper towel
with yellow marker, will we see a different color?
And we can try different colors on the paper towel, etc.
Science is fun!
The grands will like this experiment. I've never seen Pinterest.
